RUN/WALK IN SPIRIT
For a donation of $30 or more, you will receive a race t-shirt and the satisfaction of knowing you have reached out to a child in the Congo without even running the race.
5K Run/Walk: 3.1 miles of scenic trails that wind around filbert orchards and meadows with feature views of the Willamette River.
Filbert Flash Dash: This 1-mile kids’ run is a quick down and back that starts at the Dorris Ranch Barn and follows the main pathway at Dorris Ranch.
Enjoy snacks and drinks while listening to live music. See pictures of the orphans, meet the City of Refuge board members, and get informed …while listening to live Zimbabwean music by Eugene’s Kutsinhira.
Dorris Ranch is located two miles east of Interstate 5 at the intersection of South 2nd
and Dorris St., in Springfield, Oregon. Google Map Directions
Awards will be given to the top 3 men and women in each age group. Age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.
Packets will be available on race day from 1-2:30 PM at the Dorris Ranch Barn.
RANDOM PRIZE DRAWINGS
Following the race, prizes donated from local businesses will be randomly drawn. To be eligible for the drawings, participants must be present and have their race bib.
